Dr. Gang Li is a Professor of Biostatistics in the UCLA Department of Biostatistics, Director of Biostatistics/BASE Shared Resource for UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Director of Biostatistics for UCLA's Center for Excellence in Pancreatic Diseases. He will collaborate with CTSI investigators and he especially regards the Biostatistical Teleconsulting Network as one mean of communicating with investigators. Dr. Li will participate in monthly meetings of the Biostatistics Program where they will discuss problems. His statistical expertise is in general statistics, survival analysis, repeated measures and causal inference, where he has extensive collaboration with Dr. R. Elashoff. Dr. Li's research for the CTSI will be in pancreatic cancer, repeated measure and adaptive clinical trials. He will continue the research with Dr. S. Piantadosi, Dr. R. Lewis and Dr. R. Elashoff. One of Dr. Li's former Ph.D. students is a member of Dr. Piantadosi's biostatistical group at Cedars-Sinai and they are continuing their joint research.
