Arash Safaei, M.B.A., Ph.D. [ Edit Your Profile ]

Arash is a MBA student at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and is also a fellow for the Technology and Innovation Partners (TIP) Program, which aims to commercialize technology across the UCLA campus. Dr. Safaei is pursuing new and creative strategies for biomedical business formation and focusing his efforts on the integration of basic science, intellectual property and entrepreneurialism. Prior to joining Anderson, Dr. Safaei worked as a senior scientist and business development professional at Siemens Medical Solutions, USA. In that role, he operated as a clinical trial liaison to global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and also served as the sales manager for a multimillion dollar portfolio of imaging biomarkers. Dr. Safaei received his doctoral training at Molecular and Medical Pharmacology Department at UCLA, and published extensively in peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals during his education.
